Tony Fizer, Chief Pilot / CEO Of Sky Park Helicopters
Tony is a veteran aviator, with over 20 years of flying experience.
He served 12 years of military service as an Officer in the United States
Army. His last military assignment was as a Commander in the Utah National
Guard 1/211th Attack Helicopter Battalion.
Tony’s aviation experience continues today as the Western Regional Director of Chief Pilots for SkyWest Airlines. He is a current and qualified Instructor Pilot and Check Airman on the CRJ regional jet.
Tony is a Graduate of the University of Utah, and resides in Park City with his wife and four children. When Tony is not flying, he enjoys playing the guitar, snow boarding, surfing, cycling, riding motorcycles and of course - flying.
Bruce Cummings, CFI II/Certified Flight Instructor and Operations Manager of Wasatch Helicopter Academy
Bruce was born and raised in New York City and Greenwich Connecticut. He moved to Salt Lake City in the summer of 2002 when his parents retired from their Jewelry corporation in New York.
Bruce worked as a heavy machinery operator digging spec-home foundations in Park City. Some time after that, he began to drive semi-trucks for Warner Truck Center, and also a service attendant. He enjoys skiing, snowmobiling, motorcycles, boating, riding air-chairs, photography, and traveling. He has traveled most of the world from Iceland, Europe, Israel, The Middle East, China and Japan. He loves to see and learn from other cultures and this has contributed to the person that he is today.
Bruce began his aviation career in 2004 and has loved the thrill and adventure of flying helicopters. He is currently enrolled at Westminster College where he's earning a four-year-degree in communications; specifically in television broadcast. On a part-time basis, he interns at Park City Television where he serves as a camera operator and reporter. He has been a flight instructor for over two years and enjoys teaching the gift of flight to the enthusiastic students at Wasatch Flight Academy. Bruce has attained his Private, Commercial, Instrument and Certified Flight Instructor II. Bruce brings a wealth of knowledge, skills and passion for teaching at Wasatch Helicopter Academy.
Jared Kump CFI
Jared Kump
is a native Utahan and has been a flight instructor since 2006. He has
flown in a variety of locations throughout the United States including
Dallas, TX, Alaska and here in Utah. Jared has had the opportunity to
fly multiple types of missions such as tours, photo flights, film, transport,
mountain and sea level flying and, of course, flight instruction. Each
of these experiences has contributed to his teaching as a flight instructor.
He enjoys instructing and loves to see the joy that others get when
they achieve their goals.
Jared has been married since 2002 and has 3 beautiful children. He loves
everything to do with the outdoors including fishing, hiking, camping
and hunting. He enjoys watching and participating in sports. In his
spare time he enjoys relaxing with a good book or playing video games
with his little girl.
